Her Excellency, Fatoumatta Jallow Tambajang is the Vice President and Minister of Women’s Affairs of The Gambia and a pro-active national women leader, pioneer and chair of the Coalition 2016 which democratically defeated a 22 year dictator,   pro-democracy and human rights activist, political coalition builder, former passionate UN international development management practitioner, resource mobilizer and partnership builder with wealth of experience in corporate governance and UN system policy and technical operations, trainer in policy formulation and development  management, conflict  prevention and management, gender mainstreaming, women’s transformative political leadership and social entrepreneurship. She has a wealth of experience in governance and policy issues, having served as Adviser on Women and Children Affairs, and as Health Minister. She has also one time served as Chief Technical Adviser on Gender at UNDP in Liberia from 2000 to 2002. She holds a BA in French Language from the University of Nice, France
